The 2018 Mining & Exploration International Conference & Expo (MEI2018) will be held September 6, 2018 through September 8, 2018, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Workforce Development, Sustainability & Community and Technology are the primary areas of emphasis for the conference.


MINING & EXPLORATION CONFERENCE
The conference provides a forum for international leaders in mining, exploration and associated industries to share their expertise and explore the latest challenges and trends that will shape the future of the industry.


The American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) and the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) will award Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) to applicants who attend conference sessions at MEI2018. Certification is recognized by most industry organizations.

Workforce Development
A dynamic group of international experts will address solutions to help meet the industry’s workforce needs in an environment challenged by an aging workforce and the need for new skill sets because of the increasing application of technology.


Sustainability & Community
We’ll explore ways the industry is meeting the needs of regulatory agencies and the public via emerging technologies that enable us to reduce environmental impacts and demonstrate responsible stewardship. 


Technology
A review of digital and emerging technologies that enable those in the industry to remain competitive in today’s complex environment.

MINING & EXPLORATION EXPO
With over 90,000 square feet of exhibit space, meeting rooms and suites, the Expo provides the opportunity to view the latest technologies in mining and processing, and meet with industry colleagues and thought leaders. All aspects of the industry will be represented, including coal, metal, surface and nonmetal underground mining.
